Terms of Service

By accessing or using talkwith.me, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

Your use of talkwith.me is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your information. Please review it alongside these Terms.

talkwith.me provides a URL redirection service that allows users to create memorable, personalized links that redirect to their video conferencing meetings (such as Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and other platforms).

We also offer built-in, peer-to-peer video calling in the browser as an alternative to third-party platforms.

You must be at least 16 years old to use talkwith.me. To purchase a paid subscription, you must also be the age of majority in your jurisdiction and able to enter into a binding contract. By using the service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping access to your email secure, since we use passwordless sign-in. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it as needed.

You agree not to use talkwith.me for anything unlawful, abusive, or harmful, and not to redirect your link to malicious, deceptive, or infringing destinations. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Usernames and links are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. You do not acquire ownership of a username, and we may reclaim links that are inactive, infringe on trademarks, or violate these terms.

talkwith.me offers a free plan and paid plans (Premium and Business). Paid subscriptions are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, on a recurring basis. You authorize us to charge your payment method for the applicable fees, including any taxes.

Paid plans may include a free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins and your payment method is charged automatically. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time from the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access to paid features until then. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods.

Each plan includes certain features and usage limits; exceeding the limits of your plan may require an upgrade. We may change our fees or plan features and will give reasonable notice before changes take effect. Continued use after a price change means you accept the new fees for the next billing period.

We work to keep talkwith.me available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may change or be unavailable from time to time.

talkwith.me, including its name, logo, and software, is owned by Track49 and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you provide, such as your profile details.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that built-in video calls will connect successfully in every network environment.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, talkwith.me and Track49 are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless talkwith.me and Track49 from any claims or expenses arising out of your use of the service or your violation of these terms.

You may stop using talkwith.me and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or where required by law. If you have a paid subscription, terminating your account does not entitle you to a refund of fees already paid.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that the courts located in British Columbia, Canada will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the service, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your place of residence.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, make up the entire agreement between you and Track49 regarding the service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.
